New Diaspora
New Diaspora
I’ve been lucky, there are people that like my work and I am privileged that I can continue doing what I love.
Covid brought challenges to most businesses, but I managed to keep myself occupied and, boy, have I been busy!
The past year has been busier than ever. But most of all I have been painting non-stop, learning, developing my craft and generally honing my style. Some of you may already know that I have recently converted to oils, and I am really enjoying the process.
“Dirty Ole Town” is one of my newest paintings. It features an iconic view of Dublin city, and the title refers to a famous song, artfully recorded by music legends like the Dubliners, and the Pogues!

Many paintings have found homes in Ireland, some even featuring on television on the ‘Home of the Year’; but I never imagined how many of my paintings and large prints would be travelling all over the world. Nonetheless they are finding themselves in homes in the States, Australia, Asia, and Europe.
It feels like my own Irish diaspora. I am delighted, so a big thank you to those who have invested in my art, and I hope you enjoy them for decades to come.
