The Second wave

120CM X 80CM ACRYLIC ON FAT CANVAS FRAMED FLOATING IN AN OFF WHITE BOX FRAME

Ive called this the second wave purely because it is the second wave although in the days we currently live in it seems very apt. I love the sea , I find it very soothing yet strong. At this moment in time painting the sea calms me the and fills me with hope for the future.

These waves are from Cahore, County Wexford where there is a beautiful beach, of late I have been going there every week watching the waves and indeed gathering material for many paintings to come. The sea is different every minute of the day. every day of the week , every month of the year........

I love the challenge of using a fairly restricted palette which if you know my paintings is a change.
